The Food and Environment Research Center in the Graduate Division of Nutritional and Environmental Sciences at the University of Shizuoka was established on April 1, 2014. The purpose of the Center is to promote health and welfare, and to contribute to the creation of innovative industries in Shizuoka Prefecture.
1. Food factors: Detection and identification, functional assessment, safety assessment.
2. Environmental factors: Detection and identification, risk assessment, reduction of environmental burden.
Contribution to the community
Dissemination of information to the local community regarding the role of food and environmental factors in lifestyle-related diseases.
