In our laboratory, we are conducting research to verify effective health
and nutrition education methods based on scientific evidence, considering
the primary prevention of diseases, such as lifestyle-related diseases,
and behavioral characteristics of children and to establish evaluation
methods for these approaches.
1. Nutrition education study on behavioral characteristics, dietary habits, and health status of children The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between children's behavioral characteristics and their dietary habits, health status, and parents. We aim to objectively assess the nutritional and health status of children based on behavioral characteristics and to build evidence that may be useful for nutrition education. 2. Examination of the relationships among masticatory ability and stress status, dietary habits, and health status The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationships among masticatory ability and stress, dietary habits, and health status. From the perspective of mastication, we aim to build evidence for nutritional education in the context of stress prevention and dietary improvement. 3. Research on effective health and nutrition education methods for the prevention and improvement of lifestyle-related diseases Through large-scale surveys of the dietary habits and lifestyles of local residents, we are working to develop effective measures for nutrition education. We are also aiming to build evidence of the effects of nutrition education interventions and dietary environment improvements on the prevention and improvement of lifestyle-related diseases. |
